The SE-ALL Lab is proud to announce that seven papers have been accepted for publication at the 47th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2025) and its co-located events and workshops. These papers reflect the team’s dedication to advancing software engineering research and addressing key societal challenges.

 

Our publications explore a diverse range of topics, including societal issues such as essential soft skills for data scientists tackling biases in AI, responsible AI practices in the industry, and fairness debt in AI systems. Methodological advancements are also addressed, such as the challenges of conducting interdisciplinary research, the role of large language models in qualitative analysis, and the integration of positionality statements in diversity-focused studies. Additionally, our research highlights the impact of mentorship and role models on underrepresented students in software engineering education.
